About The Artist

I am an oil painter born in China but raised and currently also based in The Netherlands.

I think of art as an escape from the stress and burdens that come with life, I find a sense of fulfillment when creating that cannot easily be described in words.

My works often include anonymous portraits and quickly fleeting objects and moments. These subjects are not specifically meant to be taken literal, but are more meant to convey a perfect view.

I think of my work as a fantasy, a moment of color and light that looks beautiful on the surface but has an underlying feeling of sadness and melancholy because of the contrast with real life. In my journey I am still exploring how to visualize these feelings I have about life.
